What you’ll do:

• Check and sort yarn from Tufting.
• Rewind yarn on the backwinder machine.
  • Creel yarn onto a winder creel.
  • Place empty tube on winder.
  • Operate the backwinder to wind the proper size package
  • Pack out wound yarn into a reusable box.
  • Pack out unused yarn into a reusable box
• Aspirate all skinners ½ inches or less.
• Inspect, sort, and dispose of damaged tubes.
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follow all established standard operating procedures.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.

What you have:

• Ability to read and write numbers.
• Pay attention to details.
• Ability to apply understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to move racks of yarn weighing 1,200 pounds, with a partner, on a regular basis.
• Must be able to lift 18‑pound packages to a height of 72 inches.
