Crew Leader - Extrusion

* Administer and maintain safety policies and standards.
* Ensure first quality for all processes.
* Perform and maintain required line readings to ensure machine set-up is correct.
* Fill in for extrusion operators.
* Train and coach job specifics to extrusion operators.
* Ensure all operators have necessary tools and supplies.
* Complete production reports.
* Be familiar with current schedule and prepare for/perform product changeovers.
* Communicate with oncoming/outgoing shift’s Extrusion crew leaders
* Must be able to work overtime when needed on short notice.
* Comply with all safety policies, practices, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Report unsafe activities to supervisor and/or manager and/or Human Resources.
* Capable of safely lifting 50 lbs. Must be able to work in a noisy, non-climate-controlled environment.
