About the Role
We are seeking Repair Weld Operators for our new and growing Tier 1 supply company in Dalton, GA!
The right candidate will be an energetic team player who is interested in becoming an expert and growing within our company for a long term and satisfying career. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality by performing manual weld repairs prior to full production and supporting several key production functions.

Key Responsibilities- Perform manual weld repairs on assemblies.
- Operate and manage robotic laser and assembly cells.
- Support additional production activities as needed before full production ramp-up, including:
- Assisting fabrication
- Production tooling support
- Working with maintenance when required
- Building wraps and racks
- Running assembly cells, lasers, and off‑stacking for the press
- Maintain flexibility in daily tasks based on production priorities.
- Train future Repair Weld Operators as the department grows.
- Quick quality check
- Quality control documentation and implementation
- Transport materials throughout the plant
- Assist changing the welding devices
- Maintain cleanliness on laser machine and work area
- Welding degree from an accredited institution.
- Successfully complete and pass two welding qualification tests :
- Visual welding test
- Cut and etch test
- Recent welding experience (must have held a welding-related job within the last year).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Must be flexible.
- Willingness to assist other departments and adapt to shifting workloads.
- Work is performed in a typical manufacturing environment.
- Requires frequent visual focus and sustained attention.
- Ability to move throughout the plant, including upper‑level areas.
- Must be able to distinguish colors for repair tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
