• Creel single or double ply yarn packages.
• Load yarn into twister.
• Reposition buggies of yarn at the twisters.
• Threading ends of single yarns and operating the spindle.
• Doff twisted yarn packages, transferring packages from conveyor to a buggy.
• Monitor production output and machine equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Clean and dechoke spindles to maintain machine efficiency to meet production requirements.
• Stays informed of applicable OSHA and company guidelines and operating procedures, and proactively identifies unsafe working, building, and other environmental conditions to management and/or appropriate department for resolution.
• Ensures compliance to all company and regulatory safety and environmental guidelines and practices, including wearing the appropriate PPE, using the appropriate tools and equipment, and exercising the required safety behaviors for the task at hand.
• Assist in keeping working area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Obey all safety rules and regulations.
• Immediately report to supervision all hazards, accidents, and/or injuries, no matter how slight.
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follow all established standard operating procedures.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.

• Previous Yarn or Manufacturing experience is preferred.

• Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend and twist without restrictions.
• Able to push buggies full of yarn or tubes that weigh up to 800 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Constantly bend, crouch, and stoop throughout the shift.
• Work in an environment that is noisy, with non-climate-controlled facilities and high-traffic production floor.
