Responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining accurate mechanical drawings and 3D models using CAD software to support engineering, fabrication, and production processes.

• Develop and revise detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Solid Works.
• Translate field measurements into accurate technical drawings.
• Export and prepare files for CNC programming in Mastercam.
• Perform on-site measurements using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures, etc.).
• Maintain drawing documentation and revision control.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Drafting & Design, or related field — or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of CAD drafting or mechanical design experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solid Works (required).
• Experience with Mastercam or similar CAM software preferred.
• Experience taking field measurements and using precision measuring tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Operate in a team-based environment
• Read and understand technical documents and instructions such as blueprints, electrical schematics, mechanical and machine drawings for installations, troubleshooting and repair
• Keep simple records and make reports
• Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists

• May require bending, squatting, climbing, and other physical movement for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
• Working around moving equipment and in an industrial environment
• Working in an environment where there may be regular exposure to chemicals, noise from machinery, dust, fumes, and variable temperatures
