Job Summary
The School of Arts and Sciences at Dalton State College invites applicants for a part-time instructor of communication. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in the basic public speaking (Fundamentals of Speech, COMM 1110) and possibly additional courses in their area of expertise. Teaching assignments may include day, evening, off-campus, or online courses.
Thanks to outstanding community support, the School of Arts and Sciences has state-of-the-art facilities for media production on MAC computers.
A complete application must include (1) a letter of interest, (2) a curriculum vita, (3) two current letters of reference*, and (4) transcripts of all college work. Unofficial transcripts will suffice for initial screening however official transcripts will be required upon employment.

Required Qualifications
* Applicants must hold an earned Master's degree from an accredited college with at least 18 graduate credit hours in communication, public speaking, rhetoric, mass communication, film, media studies, or related communication field.

* College classroom teaching experience
* Earned doctorate
