Tarkett has a great opportunity for a Benefits Administrator (Dalton, GA)
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Benefits Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. This role ensures compliance with applicable laws and internal policies while providing excellent employee service. It also supports the evaluation, implementation, and communication of new or changing benefit plans and vendors.

Job Responsibilities:
Administer Benefits Programs:Administer and coordinate benefit programs, including open enrollment, new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, terminations and monthly benefits billing. Assist with wellness programs. Work closely with payroll to ensure benefits-related deductions and adjustments are correct.
Compliance:Ensure all benefits programs comply with federal and state regulations. Participate in audits and reporting requirements, including 5500 filings, nondiscrimination testing, and ACA reporting. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (e.g., ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA).
Employee Support:Serve as a subject matter expert on benefits policies and procedures, responding to employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Documentation:Maintain accurate benefits records in HRIS and vendor systems; ensure proper deductions and eligibility
Research and Recommend:Support the evaluation of existing benefit plans and recommend improvements to enhance employee satisfaction and cost-effectiveness.
Vendor Management:Coordinate with vendors and carriers to resolve issues related to claims, eligibility, or enrollment.
Communication:Assist in the development and execution of benefit communications, including presentations, FAQs, and plan documents.

Ability to analyze data and prepare reports

Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
Communication:
Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with all levels of the organization.
Strong understanding of employee benefits programs and relevant regulations.
Organized and able to prioritize tasks, responding effectively to competing needs.
Analytical and Critical Thinking
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Experience & Education Desired:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
At least 2-4 years of experience in benefit administration, preferably in a multi-state organization.
Knowledge of COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA regulations
Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG, Oracle) and benefits platforms.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
