EMR recycles ten million tons of material annually, everything from beverage cans to aircraft carriers. We work with a wide variety of metals including copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel and can recycle it into more than 200 different types of new sustainable raw materials.

As a Yard Driver, you are the gears that keep our facility moving. You’ll be responsible for the strategic relocation of containers across the yard to ensure our loading operations stay on schedule.

• Safely and efficiently moving materials to and from designated locations.
• Picking up full containers and unloading them in specified zones.
• Working independently to meet deadlines and support the overall flow of the yard.

• A proven ability to operate heavy vehicles safely in a busy environment.
• You’re a self-starter who can manage your tasks without constant supervision.
• Comfortable working under pressure and meeting daily targets.
• A positive attitude and basic customer service skills.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Exposure to all weather conditions (rain, heat, or cold).
• Regular lifting of up to 50 lbs, as well as frequent bending, kneeling, and standing.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods within a loud industrial environment (ear protection provided).
