Warehouse Order Puller

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Order Puller with experience in picking, packing, and handling metal fixtures for our client in Dallas, Texas
. This position involves working in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.

Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $18.50 hourly — Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–6:00 pm

• Retrieve metal fixtures from assembly lines and prepare them for shipment.
• Utilize pick tickets and packing lists to accurately locate and pull products.
• Safely load and unload metal products onto pallets or trucks.
• Use tape measures and scanners to verify dimensions, quantities, and barcode scanning.
• Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production and shipping deadlines.
• Shift schedules may vary due to cross-training across all departments, contingent upon the position and department.

• Non-climate controlled warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
• Physical demands include pushing, pulling, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and reaching.

• Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
• Experience in picking and packing.
• Experience in forklift, a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management systems is a plus.
• Attendance and dependability are extremely important.
• Able to follow verbal & written instructions; skilled in operating scanning equipment.
• Capable of picking and packing orders, with a willingness to undergo training across all warehouse departments.
• Must be able to use Material handling Equipment during the course of the training.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
