Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring a Warehouse Associate in Dallas, TX!

• Hourly Pay $16.50 per hour
• Schedule:
  
  Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 6 months related warehouse experience required (1 year or more preferred)
• Must learn to operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks). Intermediate knowledge of maintenance required.
• May be required to operate manual and/or automated equipment (packaging line). Intermediate preferred.
• Powered industrial truck certification
• Reading and basic math in English for safety and work instruction
• Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Data entry into WMS system
• Work overtime as assigned
• Create and maintain professional relationships at all levels
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Fast‑paced, self‑driven, flexible
• Multi‑task, organized, excellent time management
• Detail oriented, excellent follow‑up

• Package, kit, and assemble orders and materials
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers, ensuring complete scanning and training dock employees on new procedures
• Secure facility at shift end; investigate and resolve scanning issues and housekeeping
• Perform picking and packing duties; check for product or container damage
• Follow location policies and procedures for material handling
• Perform material moves per physical/logical transactions
• Participate in workgroup activities for self‑improvement and warehouse operations
• Maintain housekeeping duties in assigned area
• Perform other duties as assigned
