We want the right Warehouse Associate to join us in the Safest Supply Chain Environment with State of the Art Equipment. Products being handled include Ecommerce/Consumer Goods. Equipment includes stand up forklift, reach truck, cherry picker, and electric pallet jack.
Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US. Be advised that some positions require additional screening as noted below.

Responsibilities- Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
- Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
- Allocate resources and organize daily work duties to team members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
- Inspire and guide team members toward improved KPI performance using appropriate leadership styles and methods.
- Provide orientation and necessary information, technology and tools for employees to perform their jobs.
- Promote health and safety methods within the warehouse.
- Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
- Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred.
- One year or more experience as a Team Lead preferred.
- One year or more Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) preferred.
- One year or more warehouse experience preferred.
- Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner is preferred; advanced level may be required.
- Valid forklift operator's license certified.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective leadership skills.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and proactively approach responsibilities.
- Maintains composure under pressure.
- Commitment to health and safety methods.
- Bilingual (for Québec locations only).
