We are currently recruiting for the position of Team Leader.
$20.00 - $22.25 per hour. Candidates must be flexible to work overtime both daily and weekends.
- 1st shift 7:30am - 3:30pm
- 2nd shift 3:30pm - 11:30pm
- 3rd shift 11:30pm - 7:30am
- Inbound responsibilities include ensuring the proper unloading, transporting and put‑away of product to include the assignment of trucks to doors.
- Outbound responsibilities include the picking, transporting, and loading of product to include sealing of trailers and proper staging of outbound loads.
- Provides leadership and fosters positive employee relations through effective communication, coaching, training, and development of employees.
- Ensures any maintenance or repair issues for the building facilities, vehicles and equipment are addressed and communicated to the management.
- Provides Shift Supervisor with feedback on employee performance for evaluations; provides continual feedback of both positive and negative performance.
- Assists the Shift Supervisor with identifying and resolving process or procedural issues to improve productivity and expedite workflow.
- Assists the warehouse employees with resolving work/process problems.
- Examine and monitor warehouse employees work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to quality standards, common practices, and procedures.
- Exhibits safe behaviors and promotes safe work practices with employees.
- Participates in special projects as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Basic PC skills (data entry, EXCEL spreadsheets).
- Strong communication skills (written, oral and penmanship).
- Ability to frequently lift 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
- Previously demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
- Competency with technical skills associated with materials and inventory management.
- Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
