As a Contract Logistics Warehouse Team Lead at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations.

Would you like to launch your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Dallas, TX location is looking for a Warehouse Team Lead to join our Contract Logistics team.

As the Warehouse Team Lead you will have responsibility for coordinating and supervising warehouse activities on a daily basis. Responsible for supervising the receiving, warehousing and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.

• Supervise and coordinate unloading of inbound shipments
• Orderly stacking of product
• Picking and staging of outbound shipments in accordance with the highest possible levels of quality and productivity
• Verify required inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all products are properly counted
• Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment.
• Ensure that the work schedules are correctly implemented and that duties are assigned effectively and completed properly
• Maintain product locator system, and maintain high levels of inventory accuracy.
• Ensure the optimal utilization of space through warehouse consolidation.
• Rotate product as appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.
• Conduct operations in accordance with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion
• Assure the integrity of the inventory and assist in conducting physical inventories.
• Adhere to Kuehne + Nagel’s Quality, Safety, Health and Environment Program policies and procedures.

• Minimum Education:
  
  High School or Technical degree
• Must have 3 years’ experience in a warehouse environment and 1 year in a Lead rolle
• Schedule:
  
  (Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 6:00am - 6:30pm), flexible to work overtime as required
• Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision & computer skills
