What

You'll Do Each Day
  • Lead and direct supervisors and warehouse associates in daily shipping and receiving operations
  • Delegate responsibilities across departments to achieve productivity, accuracy, and continuous improvement goals
  • Monitor warehouse performance metrics and initiate corrective actions to meet corporate objectives
  • Drive cost‑per‑line improvements with a focus on productivity gains and error reduction
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate strategy, expectations, and operational updates
  • Manage cross‑functional projects to ensure timelines and performance targets are met
Receiving & Inventory Control
  • Supervise and train teams on receiving and put‑away procedures in accordance with documented processes
  • Oversee inventory reporting, cycle counting, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution
  • Maintain accurate inbound records, including non‑conforming product and damaged shipments
  • Investigate inventory variances, zero shipments, and receiving errors to determine root cause
  • Supervise office staff supporting WMS and ERP reconciliation
  • Maintain accurate inventory using a Warehouse Management System
  • Utilize RF scanning equipment and oversee RF‑based processes
  • Conduct performance reviews, document corrective actions, and ensure quality and production standards are met
Shipping Operations
  • Supervise and train shipping personnel to meet quality and productivity goals
  • Assign shipping duties and manage outbound orders to meet customer commitments
  • Develop, implement, and improve outbound shipping processes
  • Promote and enforce safety and quality standards
  • Perform root cause analysis on shipping errors and lead corrective initiatives
  • Conduct scheduled performance reviews and document corrective actions
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of warehouse management experience with direct staff supervision
  • Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control operations
  • Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems and ERP platforms
  • Working knowledge of RF scanning processes and equipment
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to lead with sound judgment and safety‑focused decision‑making
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to multitask under pressure
  • Flexible, dependable, and team‑oriented leadership style
  • Willingness to work on the warehouse floor alongside the team
  • Commitment to delivering strong internal and external customer service
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds on occasion
  • Frequent bending and lifting from floors and racks
  • Ability to operate at heights up to 25 feet
  • Ability to stand for extended periods in a warehouse environment
