The Shipping and Export Coordinator will manage the shipment of goods to domestic and international destinations. They will prepare documentation, ensuring compliance with domestic and international trade regulations, coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers, and track shipments for timely delivery. The successful candidate will have strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, excellent communication, and proficiency with computer systems for record‑keeping and logistics.
Responsibilities- Prepare documentation for domestic and international shipments, including export documents.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with domestic and international trade laws and customs regulations.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and trucking companies for various aspects of the shipping process.
- Track shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery to clients.
- Act as a central point of contact to resolve shipping issues, answer questions, and provide information to clients and vendors.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities for customs, audits, and internal review.

- Report quality problems or defects to manager or senior management to enable corrective action and prevent recurrence.
- Perform duties that may be modified or assigned at any time to meet business needs.
- 4 years of related domestic and international shipping experience.
- Experience with international shipping and DCAA government audit.
- Computer proficiency: data entry and use of logistics software and other computerized systems.
- Knowledge of international trade practices and key import/export procedures.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
Regularly required to sit; occasionally required to stand and walk; regularly to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; occasionally to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 30 pounds and rarely 50 pounds with assistance.
