This is a fast-paced, 24/7/365 environment that requires a visible, decisive leader who can balance people leadership with operational discipline. The ideal candidate has managed large, diverse teams (70+ employees) and served as the direct supervisor responsible for scheduling, coaching, and performance results.
The OpportunityWe’re seeking a hands-on, results-driven Operations Manager to oversee our busy DAL operation where no two days are alike! The position is based in Dallas, TX. The right candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and loves fast paced environments as much as analyzing performance data.
The ImpactYou Will Have:
- Lead & Motivate: Directly manage 85–90 drivers across multiple airports, creating a collaborative, high-performance culture
- Drive Operational Excellence: Ensure seamless, safe, on-time crew transportation. Solve issues quickly while upholding Sky Hop’s high service standards
- Engage & Develop Drivers: Provide hands‑on support with scheduling, coaching, and performance management to boost service quality and morale
- Champion Safety & Compliance: Enforce DOT regulations and company safety protocols. Conduct regular inspections and audits of vehicles and drivers
- Be the Airline Partner’s Go‑To: Serve as the primary contact for airline clients, proactively addressing concerns and ensuring exceptional service delivery
- Analyze & Report: Review key metrics to identify trends, improve operations, and communicate performance to senior leadership
- Competitive Salary: $75,000 base + up to 20% monthly performance bonus

- 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, transportation, retail, hospitality, or a similar field
- At least 2 years in a management capacity (Overseeing teams, managing schedule, & Day-to-Day operations)
- Proven leadership in transportation, logistics, or a related field; experience managing large, diverse teams (70+ employees preferred)
- A hands-on, proactive operator who leads by example and thrives under pressure
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication abilities to engage employees, airline partners, and executives alike
- Solid knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety best practices
Open availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support a 24/7 operation - Tech‑savvy for scheduling, reporting, and performance tracking tools
- Must reside in the DAL area
On-site in Dallas, TX - supporting operations at the DAL airports.
