Role Responsibilities:
- Operate vehicle according to applicable transportation laws.
- Transport loads safely and timely, obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Manoeuvre trucks into loading/unloading areas, follow crew signals.
- Assist with loading/unloading goods, use equipment as needed, and manage paperwork.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report issues.
- Arrange trailers for optimal loading.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Customer service skills, professional communication.
- Focus in busy environments.
- Valid CDL or chauffeur’s license for the vehicle weight.
- Pass background, drug tests, DOT physical, and other regulatory requirements.
- Must be 21+ years old.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and travel frequently.
- May need to be clean-shaven for customer requirements.
- Safety-sensitive position, contingent on drug screening.
