This Logistics Coordinator is an entry-level position. The successful candidate will be a team player, helping flow materials and products within supply chain, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. Will coordinate transportation, warehousing, and inventory, working with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to optimize the logistics process.
Responsibilities- Ensure accuracy of orders, preparing shipping documents, and processing shipments
- Work with transportation providers to arrange shipments, manage transportation costs, and optimize routes
- Support warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and ensure proper storage and handling of materials
- Facilitate communication between different departments, including production, procurement, and distribution, to ensure smooth workflow
- Address issues related to shipments, delivery delays, or inventory shortages
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations related to transportation and warehousing
- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business

- Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct
- Report any quality problems or defects to a manager or senior management to implement corrective action and avoid recurrence
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Some prior work experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and desire for accuracy
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards
- Some experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation
- General understanding of logistics processes, transportation modes, and warehousing operations
- Experience with international shipping
- DCAA government audit experience
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
