Join Walmart’s innovative engineering team as a Senior Software Engineer, where you’ll drive the development of next-generation Smart TV software. • Design, develop, and test embedded software for Smart TV platforms
• Integrate and optimize video control and processing features across device layers
• Ensure high quality and performance for diverse video streams and codecs
• Develop unit and system‑level tests using BDD frameworks
• Mentor and train junior engineers

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 7+ years of embedded software development experience
• Expertise in C/C++ (C++17+) and Linux/RTOS‑based systems
• Strong analytical, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration skills
• Experience with video/audio processing, HAL, and BDD frameworks is a plus

Minimum Qualifications:

• Option 1:
  Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
• Option 2: 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.
