Texas Instruments is a global semiconductor company that designs and manufactures analog and embedded processing chips. They are seeking an Early Career Software Development Engineer to influence, design, develop, and test software systems for new and existing products, including cloud-based tools.
Responsibilities
:
• Influences, designs, develops, understands business domain and tests full software systems or platforms for new/existing products including cloud-based or internet-related tools.
• Develops software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms.
• Uses current and or proposes new programming languages and technologies, writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
Qualifications
:
Required
:
• Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, AI, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related technical field
• Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher
• 2-5 years of relevant professional experience
Preferred
:
• Basic understanding of web development, programming (C, C++, Java, Perl, Python, R, SQL) and scripting
• Basic understanding of Networks, Operating systems (Windows, Unix) and Databases
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
• Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
• Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to handle ambiguity
• Strong customer service skills
