Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer — Remote (approved states)
• 6 Month Contract to Hire
• Pay Rate: 60–70/hr (135k Conversion Range)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support new development and modernization efforts across web applications and backend systems. This is a high-ownership role where you will design solutions, build scalable production systems, and influence technical direction within a collaborative, remote-first engineering team. The technical environment is centered around the Microsoft stack, with cloud-based infrastructure and modern Dev Ops practices.

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong expertise in C# and the Microsoft stack (.NET Framework, .NET 6+, ASP.NET Web API, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework)
• Strong front-end experience with React, Angular, or Vue
• Proficiency with relational databases and query optimization
• Experience with distributed systems concepts (async workflows, messaging, observability)
• Production experience with AWS or Azure
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices
• Demonstrated experience writing automated tests
• Fluency with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Active daily use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Git Hub Copilot, or similar)

• Experience working in regulated industries
• Healthcare technology exposure
• Familiarity with HL7 standards or healthcare interoperability concepts
• Experience modernizing legacy applications
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve engineering velocity and workflow efficiency
• History of leading technical initiatives or mentoring engineers
