Developer, Software Engineer, Software Development

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Jersey City, NJ / Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL. Candidate must have strong full‑stack expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular to lead end‑to‑end development of scalable backend services and modern UI components.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:

• Leading backend service and API development using Java, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot across distributed systems.
• Developing responsive UI components using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and related front‑end frameworks.
• Writing modular components and building unit tests with tools such as Jasmine to ensure code reliability.
• Collaborating with Agile teams to deliver features through CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Hub, and related Dev Ops tools.
• Troubleshooting technical issues across both backend and UI layers while ensuring high‑quality engineering practices.
• Guiding distributed team members, clarifying requirements, and maintaining strong communication and documentation standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8–10 years of experience required.
• Strong full‑stack expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular with the ability to build scalable backend services and modern UI components.
• Proven capability to work in Agile environments, integrate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Git Hub, and lead development efforts across distributed teams.

Pay Details:

$49.00 to $53.00 per hour
