We are seeking a visionary Senior Android Developer to lead the charge in mobile application development. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of shaping the mobile landscape, providing technical guidance, and driving the evolution of sophisticated applications. Your expertise will directly influence product direction, enhance user engagement, and empower a talented team to deliver groundbreaking solutions.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and guide engineering teams through the entire development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications for the development team.
  • Actively participate in design discussions, contributing your expertise to architectural decisions and best practices.
  • Mentor junior developers, fostering their growth and removing technical roadblocks to ensure team efficiency and success.
  • Direct the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of robust and scalable mobile applications.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of current technological trends, developments, and best practices in areas such as information security and wireless network architecture.
What You'll Bring (Required Qualifications)
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of professional Android development experience, including demonstrated team leadership.
  • Extensive experience developing complex Android applications within an enterprise environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities coupled with deep experience coaching and mentoring junior developers.
  • Proven experience with REST, JSON, XML, and seamlessly interfacing Android applications with server‑side APIs.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin.
  • A solid grasp of algorithms, memory management, and real‑time communication protocols.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Hands‑on experience supporting multiple versions of Android SDKs, various screen resolutions, and diverse device types.
  • An expert understanding of the Android SDK and NDK.
What Sets You Apart (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience with integrating feature flagging tools.
  • Proficiency in implementing unit test cases using industry‑standard frameworks like Espresso, Gherkin, Mockito, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar.
  • Experience with modern code repository tools like Git, Bitbucket, SVN, or similar.
  • Exceptional Object‑Oriented (OO) design and development skills.
