Senior Java Developer

Our client, a global leader in contact center solutions, is seeking a dynamic individual with high energy and drive to join their Work Force Management (WFM) software development team as a Senior Software Engineer. This engineer will primarily focus on the design, development, testing, and implementation of server‑side components. Experience with client‑side development is a plus. The role will work in an Agile environment, following all agile processes and practices.

• Design and develop high‑quality, well‑documented technical solutions that meet business requirements and corporate architectural standards.
• Develop solid unit, integration, and automation tests according to organizational standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining existing software applications; identify and implement improvements when warranted; collaborate with external stakeholders as needed.
• Develop technical models / designs for assigned components.
• Contribute to and drive technological and architectural decisions.
• Participate in reviewing designs and code for other team members.
• Guide the team to a high‑performing level by recognizing strengths and areas for improvement, employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
• Work with the Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision‑making and support organizational project or product teams.
• Contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.

• Minimum 8 years of Java web application development experience.
• Expertise in server‑side development using Hibernate, Spring, and REST Web Services, including server‑side testing with JUnit, Mockito/Easy Mock.
• Experience with AWS is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience with multi‑tier web application development.
• Hands‑on experience with Continuous Integration and Test‑Driven Development.
• Experience with JBoss or Tomcat.
• Prior experience with Maven and Jenkins is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
