We’re looking for a Full‑Stack Senior Software Engineer to join an exceptional team and become a technical domain expert in our Affordable Housing space.

This role is focused on building leading‑edge SaaS solutions that help property managers navigate complex data gathering, certification, and compliance in a dynamic regulatory environment.

• Build a deep understanding of our Affordable Housing segment to own the domain.
• Develop scalable, robust, and simple web‑based solutions to solve complex business problems using our existing technology or by integrating with partners.
• Help mentor and guide other software engineers.
• Implement new features and optimize existing ones to drive maximum performance.
• Work closely with QA, product owners, designers, and engineering teammates, participating in a high‑performing, empowered team that values trust and respect.
• Use agile practices to break large problems into thinly sliced deliverables and execute quickly while limiting work in progress.
• Research, share, and recommend new technologies and trends.
• Hold a high bar of engineering excellence, advocate for code quality, participate in code reviews, and evangelize best practices.
• Prioritize quality with test‑driven development, code reviews, pair programming, continuous integration, and rapid bug resolution.

• Extensive experience developing web applications in an agile SaaS environment.
• Proven experience across all levels of the development stack.
• Strong familiarity with Ruby on Rails, React, MySQL, AWS, and SOA.
• Experience with Agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong Test‑Driven Development skills.
• Creativity and proactivity – the ability to solve complex problems without a roadmap.
• A passion for learning new tech while maintaining existing stable systems.
• A commitment to long‑term codebase maintainability, refactoring, and code cleanliness.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering teams.
• Comfortable working with remote team members.
• A pragmatic mindset that balances business outcomes with technical goals.
• Ability to build strong relationships with peers across platform development teams.

• Experience with HUD TRACS, iMax, and HUD 202D guidelines.

The base salary range for this role is $138,400 – $173,000, determined by candidate skills, education, experience, and other factors. Base pay is one component of a comprehensive Total Rewards package, including benefits and potential bonuses or commissions.
