As a Lead Software Engineer within PNC's Corporate and Institutional Banking Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX.
The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis.
As a Lead Software Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and delivering robust full-stack applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions using technologies such as C#, .NET, Angular, SQL Server, Oracle, and Mongo
DB. This role also includes mentoring junior developers and fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of full-stack applications using C#, .NET, and Angular
- Architect and optimize relational and non-relational databases, including SQL Server, Oracle, and MongoDB
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless front-end and back-end integration
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, promoting best practices and professional growth
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability through rigorous testing and optimization
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across the software stack
- Proven experience in a lead software engineering role, with a strong track record of delivering enterprise-grade applications
- Advanced proficiency in C# (preferred), .NET Framework, Angular, and database technologies
- Deep understanding of SQL Server, Oracle, and MongoDB
- Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Strong grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and enterprise application integration
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Effective leadership and communication abilities
- Experience working in agile, fast-paced development environments
- Demonstrated success in integrating business processes across legacy systems and modern web technologies
- Familiarity with industry-standard development tools and environments such as TFS, Jenkins, and Jira
- Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
- Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
- Facilitates complex problem resolution.
- Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
- Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
