Principal Kubernetes Engineer

We are seeking a Principal Kubernetes Engineer to design, develop, and implement large-scale solutions in production environments.

This role requires deep expertise in container orchestration, cloud platforms, and modern development practices.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience in optimizing system performance and reliability, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions.

• Design and implement Kubernetes-based solutions for large-scale production environments.
• Develop and optimize containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with platform engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and scalability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation using Git Hub Actions and related Dev Ops tools.
• Manage data integration and storage solutions using Postgre
  
  SQL, Mongo
  
  DB, and Redis.
• Develop APIs and integration solutions using Kafka, REST, and Graph
  
  QL.
• Ensure system designs allow for incremental, safe releases across multiple teams.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and introduce solutions that enhance organizational capabilities.
• Participate in Agile development processes and architecture planning.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Strong programming skills in Go, Python, and React.
• Experience with Git Hub for source control and Git Hub Actions for CI/CD.
• Knowledge of API technologies (Kafka, REST, Graph
  
  QL) and data management systems (Postgre
  
  SQL, Mongo
  
  DB, Redis).
• Ability to optimize solutions for performance, resiliency, and reliability.
• Strong communication skills for conveying ideas verbally, in writing, and through diagrams.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Experience in the airline industry.
• Background as a platform engineer or experience collaborating closely with platform engineering teams.
• Familiarity with container orchestration best practices and Dev Ops methodologies.
