Single Family Residential Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations. We own and operate a large portfolio of single family residential homes.

This role begins as a contracted position with a 90–180 day probationary period. Candidates who show strong work ethic, reliability, and initiative may be offered a full-time position.

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry work, and electrical repairs
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment to identify issues and recommend solutions
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and systems to minimize downtime
• Supervise contractors and vendors when necessary
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work orders and inventory management (Close By Jobs & Appfolio)

• Must have an HVAC license
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Clear background check (required)
• Drivers License (required)
• Ability to fabricate parts when needed
• Proficiency in residential painting techniques is a plus
