Building Automation; BAS Technician | DFW

What You’ll Do

• Manage and execute service calls for Building Management Systems (BMS) and HVAC controls
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, program, and repair complex DDC and controls systems
• Respond to urgent service issues while maintaining high-quality standards
• Support larger controls projects in partnership with project managers and engineering teams
• Work with platforms such as Tridium Niagara, ABB/Cylon, Distech, Honeywell, and Johnson FX
• Perform system optimizations, upgrades, and integrations
• Communicate clearly with customers, providing technical explanations and solutions
• Maintain accurate service documentation and reporting
• Follow all safety, quality, and compliance standards

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of hands-on experience diagnosing, programming, and repairing HVAC controls systems
• Strong working knowledge of ladder-logic programming (DDC, PLC, or similar)
• Experience with platforms such as ABB/Cylon, Distech, Honeywell, or Johnson Controls
• Tridium Niagara experience is highly preferred (N4 certification a strong plus)
• Ability to work independently and manage service work end-to-end
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and customer-facing professionalism
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
• Ability to pass a background check

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Occasional overtime and weekend work as needed
