Audio-Visual; AV Technician | Dallas–Fort Worth, TX

Job Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX (Local travel to commercial jobsites required).
Job Type: Full-Time.
Pay Rate: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour (DOE).

Flex Tech is seeking skilled AV Technicians for commercial new construction and retrofit projects throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex

• Install and service commercial audio-visual systems
• Mount flat panel displays, brackets, and projection systems
• Install loudspeakers, paging systems, and AV racks
• Install and terminate AV connectors and cabling (including soldering when required)
• Work with control systems including:
  • AMX
  • Crestron
  • Extron
• Upload control code and perform onsite programming adjustments
• Configure and support teleconferencing systems such as:
  • Polycom
  • Tandberg
• Work with professional AV equipment including:
  • Clear One
  • QSC
  • Biamp
• Read and interpret blueprints and system drawings
• Lead small crews of 3–6 technicians when required
• Maintain clean, organized, and safety-focused jobsites

• Minimum 2+ years of professional AV installation and service experience
• Experience with commercial AV systems and integrations
• Working knowledge of AV connectors and terminations
• Experience mounting displays, speakers, and related hardware
• Familiarity with AV control systems (AMX, Crestron, Extron)
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Willingness to work days, nights, and weekends as required
• Ability to work in tight or confined spaces
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and climb ladders
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation to DFW-area jobsites
• Must pass a drug screen and background check

• Info Comm CTS or CTS-I
• Crestron certification
• DMC certification
• Other relevant AV manufacturer certifications
