earn between $100k - $135K per year
, (considering the hours worked versus the hours invoiced). This is because we pay you for every hour you invoice on a job, not just the hours you clock in. This is called flag hours. So, the faster and better you work, the more you can earn.

USD $100,000 - $135,000 / Yr is the potential range described for earnings.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair our customers  Commercial Tractors and Trailers.
• Write detailed work orders – perform Mobile Road Calls and/or In Yard services.
• Provide quality customer service.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair semi-truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet semi-trucks and trailers.
• Maintain hubs and axles and adjust or replace them when required.
• Inspect, service, and replace tractor and trailer parts, including tires.
• Check and repair the brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Test all systems and equipment for performance issues.
• Ensure that trailers meet the U.S. Department of Transportation s road safety requirements.
• Compile inspection reports, document repairs, and report all findings to management.
• Respond as soon as possible to client queries.

Hourly Pay Rates are based on years of experience and expertise; the starting amount shown in this ad is based on an experienced mobile diesel mechanic with at least 5 years experience.
