Acadian Ambulance Service invites an experienced Mechanic to join our Dallas shop. The incumbent will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on ambulance vehicles.

• Inspect and repair company vehicles
• Preventive maintenance on ambulance fleet and other company vehicles
• Write work tickets
• Perform mechanical related repairs
• Work with shop employees and supervisors
• Electrical repairs
• Drive vehicles when required

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Clean driving record
• Current driver’s license
• On-the-job training available with 2‑3 years of mechanical experience or related G.M. or trade school training
• Diesel Mechanic experience preferred
• Mechanical knowledge, reading, writing, speaking, hand tool use, and specialized tool use
• Have basic hand tools
