Job Title:
Heavy Equipment Operator and Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a dedicated Heavy Equipment Operator and Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role requires a mechanically inclined individual with experience in operating heavy machinery and performing light maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities- Spend 3 hours daily managing 'the wall', 1.5 hours at the start and end of the shift.
- Perform light maintenance tasks including pre-trip inspections, washing machines, and fluid changes.
- Conduct general cleaning and assist diesel technicians as needed.
- Operate heavy equipment such as front-end loaders and CDL trucks.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for maintenance and inspection tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics for mechanical equipment assembly.
- Experience as a heavy equipment operator or with freight/diesel trucks.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to perform mechanical assembly and inspections.
- Understanding of schematics.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Mechanically inclined with a strong understanding of maintenance procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work EnvironmentWork inside a warehouse and occasionally in traffic. Be prepared to work in varying weather conditions, including hot and cold environments. Must be comfortable with manual labor and operating in both indoor and outdoor settings.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of DALLAS, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
