Security Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled Security Technician to join our team and support Dallas data center projects. This role focuses on installing CCTV security cameras. Ideal candidates will have hands‑on experience in commercial environments and a strong understanding of low‑voltage installation practices. This project has already kicked off and the work is immediate.

• Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, coax, etc.) for CCTV and access control systems
• Mount, configure, and aim CCTV cameras; verify video feed and ensure full system functionality
• Run cable in various commercial environments, including ceilings, walls, and conduit
• Install and secure door hardware and access control components such as strikes, maglocks, readers, and request‑to‑exit devices
• Read and follow blueprints, scope of work documents, and wiring diagrams
• Maintain a clean and organized job site and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet project timelines and customer expectations
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and other trades on‑site

• 2+ years of experience in low voltage installations (CCTV, cable drops, access control)
• Familiarity with tools such as punch‑down tools, cable testers, fish tape, drills, and hand tools
• Ability to read and interpretsempel drawings and blueprints
