Fire Alarm/Intrusion/Access Control Service Technician
Location: Dallas, TX

A national technology and services provider is seeking experienced Fire Alarm/Intrusion/Access Control Service Technicians for work at various retail and commercial sites across the U.S. This role requires a dependable, self-driven technician capable of working independently on service calls and special installation projects.

Qualifications:- FAL and DPS licensced
- Experience with security system installations:
Fire Alarm, Intrusion, and Access Control - State-required physical security or life safety license (as applicable)
- Familiarity with NFPA standards (especially 70 and 72)
- Comfortable with travel, including extended assignments
- Day shifts (8 AM 5 PM) with occasional night work
- Proficiency in using computers, smartphones, and basic Microsoft Office applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Personal PPE and reliable transportation required during the initial training phase
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in last 3 years)
Install, service, and troubleshoot Fire Alarm, Intrusion, and Access Control systems
Complete wiring, terminations, and system programming
Interpret and work from blueprints, site maps, and technical diagrams
Run low-voltage cabling, including through concrete and limited conduit bending
Mount and wire devices (e.g., sensors, control panels) in crawlspaces, attics, and elevated areas (2060)
Test new systems to ensure full functionality and code compliance
Ensure installations meet all local, state, and federal codes
Provide remote and on-site technical escalation support
Collaborate with team leads and project managers to meet schedule and quality expectations
Maintain compliance with OSHA and customer-specific safety requirements
Compensation:- $25 $ 40 per hour (depending on experience)
- Per diem provided for overnight travel
- Paid drive time and mileage (use of personal vehicle during initial period)
