We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Irrigation Technician that will be responsible for all irrigation duties including but not limited to diagnostics, repairs, installations, and maintenance of commercial irrigation systems. This position may work independently or on a small team on an assigned route.

• Monitor and test new installations and existing systems, troubleshoot and repair problems.
• Complete and observe pipe, head, and valve placements, and evaluate start-ups, winterization and overall operation of the irrigation system.
• Conduct and record detailed inspections. Plan, execute, and repair client systems.
• Install irrigation timers, piping, and valves.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components and central irrigation control computers.
• Perform general and seasonal system maintenance.

• 3–5 years experience repairing and troubleshooting commercial irrigation systems.
• Valid Texas Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• English proficiency – read, write, speak.

• Valid Texas Irrigators License or Irrigation Technician License, or willingness to acquire after 1 year of hire (employer’s expense).
• Knowledge of smart irrigation systems/controllers.
• Bilingual (Spanish).
• Strong computer skills – Aspire, GPS maps, spreadsheets, email.

• Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Prolonged exposure to the outdoors.
• Repetitive movement including standing, walking, bending, squatting, stooping and turning for extended periods.
