Security Alarm Technician - Dallas, TX

Interface equips its technicians with a full suite of high-quality, company-provided tools to ensure you’re prepared for every job. Standard equipment includes a cordless drill/driver, test monitor, tone generator and probe kit, cable strippers, crimpers, fish tape or rods, voltage tester, punch down tool, specialty wrenches or nut drivers, label maker, PPE (such as safety glasses, gloves, and hard hat), and a company-issued laptop.

Interface is seeking an experienced Security Alarm Technician. In this position, you will diagnose and resolve application issues while maintaining, Fire Alarm, TCP/IP Networks, Video Surveillance, Access Control & Wireless solutions. As a Security Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing and servicing, , security and video surveillance systems, wireless devices, and cabling. This will also include installing various electronic components and cables including terminating, commissioning and testing.

* * The position is full-time and may include rotating on-call duties.
** Qualifications
* * Verifiable field experience. Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings. Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to pass applicable state and federal background checks to become a registered security installer. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to work from heights such as man lifts, scissor lifts, and rooftops utilizing proper fall protection. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
