• Assist in repair and overhaul of refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to meet customer needs efficiently, accurately, and on time.
• Repair and overhauling equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical and mechanical control devices, ensuring safety and exceeding customer expectations.
• Perform general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation units including air conditioning, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors.
• Conduct preventative maintenance activities by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies to ensure quality performance.
• Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and/or mechanical skills.
• Maintain legible corporate and personal records of work history.
• Support the department by processing job tickets and work orders promptly.
• Assist by picking up, delivering, and installing cases.
• Perform work on minor construction and remodeling projects, including startups of new installations.
• Drive company vehicle safely.
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management.

• High school diploma/GED.
• EPA certification.
• Certification from an accredited vocational‑technical or trade school is a plus.
• Minimum 3+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Experience working on refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with single systems and rack systems, display cases, and walk‑in boxes.
• Good driving record and ability to work independently.
• Emergency on‑call availability.
• Capability to lift up to 60 lbs. without assistance and to sit or stand for several hours.
