Shop Technician

This role is critical to maintaining the performance and safety of our heavy equipment fleet. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in motor graders and excavators
, and be capable of performing off-rental inspections
, major repairs
, and welding/fabrication tasks
.

Requirements:

• Perform comprehensive inspections on off-rental equipment to assess condition and readiness for redeployment
• Diagnose and execute major repairs on motor grades, excavators, and other heavy machinery.
• Carry out welding and fabrication tasks to restore or modify equipment components
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all work performed.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a shop technician, preferably in construction environments.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of motor graders and excavators.
• Proficient in welding and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documents.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
