Learn more:  As an armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and calm professionalism.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Sat  05:00 AM - 01:00 PM | Sun 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients and retail guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies or emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail store, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including completing required notifications and incident documentation.
• Help to deter theft, trespassing, and disruptive behavior by maintaining a visible presence, monitoring activity, and addressing concerns according to site procedures.
• Control access as required by post orders, including screening deliveries and vendors, monitoring secured areas, and coordinating with store management and local law enforcement when necessary.

• Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or have a college degree.
• Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or have 5+ years armed security-related experience.
• Have Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
