HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Sunstates Security is currently hiring unarmed security officers to work as flex positions in the Dallas, TX area. These positions offer a pay rate of $21/hr paid weekly.

• Must have Level II Security Officer License in hand
• Must be able to stand for long periods
• Must have a valid driver's license and CPR certification
• 1 year of security experience
• Customer service experience preferred
• Must be available to work on call and as a Flex security officer in various locations at various times throughout the DFW area
• Must have reliable means of transportation to and from work
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen prior to hire

The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company’s operational and financial success. The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts that open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers while protecting the health and work balance of our personnel.

The scheduling parameters and expectations for a Flex Officer are different from those of an employee assigned to a fixed post. As a Flex officer:

• You will be trained at various posts or facilities based on operational need. You may work at a specific post or location for several weeks due to need, but this is not a permanent assignment.
• Your schedule (shifts, days off, hours per week) will vary based on operational need.
• You will be assigned to, or offered the opportunity to accept, shifts as they become available due to staffing needs.
• Some shifts will be scheduled in advance and posted with the new week’s schedule; some may be required on short notice to cover for others.
• You are expected to work any scheduled shift within your described availability. If you know you will be unavailable on an upcoming date, communicate this with your supervisor.

For short-notice call-ins, you are expected to work at least 80% of the shifts for which you are called. If you refuse more than 20% of shifts, this could impact employment status.
