As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies and protocols in a retail environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing proper judgment and communication skills.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter potential incidents and identify unusual activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including coordinating with law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, violence, and/or other criminal activity within the retail location.
• Interact professionally with visitors, customers, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards and client expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
