Work hours: Full-Time, 40 hours/week – Rotating Shifts

What You Need
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security, or closely related field preferred.
  • 2 years security or law enforcement preferred.
  • 2 years healthcare or education preferred.
  • Driver’s License Class C and Insurable is required.
  • CSO – Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2 – 14 days to hire required.
  • CSO – Commissioned Security Officer Texas Level 3 – within 60 days to hire required.
  • TASER Certification – within 60 days to hire required (two attempts permitted within sixty days) and annual recertification required.
  • CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training upon hire.
  • ACPI – Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 6 months to hire required.
  • CPR – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 30 days to hire required.
  • ACPI – Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 12 months to hire required.
  • Must successfully complete a psychological evaluation.
What You Will Do
  • Patrol buildings and grounds for unlocked secured areas for after‑hour entry.
  • Provide individual and group escorts to and from parking areas.
  • Identify and remove unauthorized individuals from property.
  • Enforce campus parking policies/cite violations.
  • Maintain compliance with Security policies.
  • Pursue and detain persons involved in criminal activity.
  • Fill out incident/offense report forms and compose narratives.
  • Give directions to areas of the facility.
  • Interact with police, fire personnel, patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Provide vehicle assistance.
  • Assist Police, Fire, EMS and other emergency staff as required.
