Producers Midstream is seeking an Environmental Analyst to work in either our corporate office in Dallas, TX or in Hobbs, New Mexico.
SummaryThis role supports environmental compliance and reporting activities, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate will assist with emissions data analysis, regulatory reporting, and environmental programs while collaborating across departments to maintain compliance and safety standards.
Duties and Responsibilities- Collect, organize, and analyze emissions data (Fugitive and MSS) for review and reporting.
- Assist with environmental compliance tracker action items.
- Coordinate with work groups for field emissions testing and Title V reporting.
- Review and submit emission inventories, compliance certifications, Tier II reports, and tank inspection forms.
- Update SPCC, EPA RMP, FRP plans as necessary.
- Provide administrative support for the EHSC team and assist with quarterly facility leak inspections.
- Support emergency response actions and regulatory reporting remotely.
- Facilitate environmental compliance training as needed.
- Collect soil samples for remediation and assist with waste program activities, including waste profiles, manifests, and disposal coordination.
- High School diploma or GED required, some college or college degree a plus.
- Nationally recognized Environmental Professional certification/s a plus.
- 1+ years of experience in environmental compliance or related field preferred.
- Commitment to safety and environmental compliance in all activities.
- Ability to adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
- Understanding of Federal, State, and Local environmental regulations in NM, TX, OK and best practices for minimizing environmental impact.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, Google Earth, and/or GIS.
- Working knowledge of MACT, NSPS, and NESHAP regulations preferred.
- Familiarity with state environmental regulations (TX, OK, NM) preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a group environment.
- Proficiency with computers including MS Office applications such as Excel and Outlook as well as other computer-based work training, time reporting, expense reporting, and on-line work applications and documentation.
- Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work independently and exercise good judgement.
- Must be able to travel initially 50-75% until fully trained for the role. Once trained travel 25%-50%.
- Reports to the department Director.
- Follows defined guidelines using some independent judgment with minimal supervision once training is completed.
Physical Conditions:
- Office Work
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional facility, pipeline ROW or compressor station visits.
- Digital media such as Teams or Zoom would be utilized.
