OverviewThe Field Sales Consultant generates sales leads, presents in‑home presentations of solar products and services, and builds genuine connections with potential customers. The role prioritizes qualifying prospects to determine if solar is a viable solution for their home and family.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute self‑generated sales strategies, secure leads, and set appointments with potential customers.
- Deliver an industry‑leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and post‑installation support.
- Conduct in‑home sales presentations and assess customers’ needs to build long‑lasting relationships.
- Manage the sales pipeline from prospects to installation by following up on all leads and consultations.
- Accurately record and report outcomes using the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
- Meet minimum sales targets set by sales leadership.
- Minimum of one year of sales and/or lead‑generation experience; in‑home sales experience preferred.
- Age 21 or over, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
- Willingness to travel within the local market as required.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to accommodate homeowners’ schedules.
- Intermediate comfort with technology, including an iPad/computer and multiple software applications (CRM experience is a plus).
