As the Corporate Chef, Field Sales for Nestlé Professional Solutions, you will provide culinary sales support to Nestlé’s field sales team, driving volume growth of iconic brands throughout the South Central region (Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana). The position reports directly to the Manager, Culinary Strategy, Western Region.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate innovative menu and operator solutions utilizing the NPS portfolio that are on‑trend, unique, and elevate the customer experience.
- Analyze customer menus to create and effectively communicate Nestlé products and operational suggestions.
- Showcase NPS portfolio expertise through comprehensive recipe development, food demonstrations, and product cuttings with key customers and targets.
- Establish strong chef‑to‑chef relationships with customers and industry partners.
- Apply knowledge of culinary technique and sensory attributes to evaluate products and make recommendations, leveraging organoleptic analysis, product compatibility, and extensive tasting to ensure optimal flavor, texture, and overall quality.
- Utilize industry‑relevant resources to ground menu concepts in consumer insights and trend data.
- Grow and protect existing Nestlé products at strategically relevant operators while building strong, differentiated customer relationships.
- Partner with Broker Sales Reps (BSR), Channel Sales Managers (CSM), Broker Chefs, and Distributor Sales Reps (DSR) to drive sales at large local operators and distributors.
- Deliver impactful customer training and demonstrations, including recipes and techniques that highlight product flavor and profitability.
- Lead and support skill development of sales partners and operator customers through training sessions, symposiums, and best‑practice sharing.
- Share customer and competitive insights with Nestlé Professional Business Development to inform growth strategies.
- Accurately account for sales performance and reconcile T’E budgets in compliance with Nestlé USA standards.
- Provide culinary stewardship with local communities, culinary schools, and professional associations (ACF, WCR, Cater source, Pro Start) to showcase Nestlé’s commitment to Culinary Arts while networking for business development.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and build relationships with key customer contacts.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong desire to develop new business; ability to make executive decisions, drive sales, champion the brand, and deliver exceptional culinary results.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with multiple business partners (sales, marketing, R’D, supply chain, QA).
- Deep understanding of back‑of‑house restaurant operations, culinary technique, and food manufacturing processes.
- Skilled in training and mentoring peers, sales partners, and operator customers through impactful demonstrations and leadership in Nestlé best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts, food science, or a related field is preferred.
- 4–8 years of restaurant or food service selling experience required.
- 4 years of experience in a culinary selling role (broker, distributor, or food manufacturer).
