Business Development Coordinator

Job Summary

Goodson Acura, a reputable and established car dealership in Dallas, Texas, is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual for the position of Business Development Coordinator. As a Business Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving service for Goodson Acura. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with an hourly and commission structure in the fast-paced and exciting automotive industry.

• Receive inbound and conduct outbound calls to drive traffic for the service department by setting appointments for prospective customers.
• Update and maintain customer information in database systems.
• Follow up on customer visits to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure the protection of customer information by continually following information security procedures.
• Address customer concerns and issues or escalating as needed.
• Coordinate questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel.
• Direct customers to the appropriate department or point-of-contact.
• Provide courteous and efficient electronic and phone customer service assistance.
• Take ownership of the customer experience by immediately addressing and resolving issues.
• Assist and coordinate customers to minimize wait time and promote the most effective service method as required.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one-year experience in customer service.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in the use of computers, software applications, and technology systems.
• Motivated self‑starter able to establish and meet production goals.
• Time management, professional dress, and behavior are all required for this position.
• Friendly and customer service focused.
• Proven ability to multi‑task.
