Key Account Manager - Abilene at Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc.
Remote, field based position.
The selected candidate will be required to live in or near the listed City/State:
Dallas, Lubbock, Amarillo, Abilene.
- Develop, execute, and maintain a strategic plan for each Tier 1 and Tier 2 customer in the account list.
- Ensure sales objectives are realized through sales skills and product knowledge.
- Maintain regular contact with customers to identify future sales needs and ensure service requirements are met.
- Call on all customer accounts within the assigned territory and identify new account opportunities.
- Maintain awareness of sales opportunities and develop relationships with key individuals in customer accounts.
- Develop and implement market penetration strategies to increase sales; leverage competitive analysis and market research.
- Update prospective sales opportunities and contacts using CMSU automated sales tools.
- Ensure sales tools are regularly updated to reflect territory coverage and customer activity.
- Maintain effective working relationships with customers, employees, and managerial staff.
- Develop accurate forecasts.
- Assist in the coordination of site visits.
- Provide effective resolution to problems that may arise to close sales opportunities.
- Maintain knowledge of factors affecting the business equation.
- Perform administrative functions efficiently and cost‑effectively.
- Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong proficiency in computer skills, MS Office.
- Experience in consultative selling and closing large contracts.
- Experience with long sales cycles.
- Experience working with sales quotas and forecasting.
- Knowledge of diagnostic imaging products and system applications.
- Valid and current state driver’s license.
- 4‑year bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years prior sales experience in medical imaging or related field.
- 7 years prior diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
- Preferred experience:
medical device or capital sales in radiology, cardiology, interventional radiology, cath‑lab, or oncology. - Pay Information:
Base $110,000 plus incentive.
