Join to apply for the Sales Professional - Inside Sales role at Service Corporation International
. This inside sales position focuses on proactively engaging prospective clients to provide pre‑planned funeral services, cemetery/mausoleum property, and related insurance solutions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop trusting relationships with prospective and existing client families to generate sales leads and record contact information in the CRM system.
  • Take initiative to contact prospective clients and schedule sales appointments, including evenings and weekends to meet client schedules.
  • Apply listening and empathy skills to guide families through the pre‑planning process, selecting services and property that best meet their needs; demonstrate product features, complete contracts, and ensure accuracy.
  • Utilize CRM software to continually source leads from campaigns, prospective clients, and prior sales to develop a robust sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with the Funeral Director and families on pre‑need property or mausoleum sales and coordinate efforts with team members and other departments.
  • Seek manager coaching to improve the sales cycle, techniques, software proficiency, and product knowledge.
Minimum Qualifications Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Licenses
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an insurance license as required by state/province
  • Current state/province issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Experience
  • Sales or Customer experience preferred
  • Previous experience with CRM systems preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office suite
  • Proficient computer skills with CRM and Social Networking Apps preferred
  • Professional demeanor and communication skills
  • Bilingual, knowledge of another language preferred
  • Professional attire required when meeting with clients or representing the company
  • Available to work evenings and weekends
Compensation

$50,000 to $100,000 targeted compensation (with higher earnings potential based on exceptional performance)
