About the Role
Sales Executive / Business Development Executive – Infrastructure & Technology Services
Travel required for client meetings and business development activities
OverviewStar Tech Networks is seeking a highly driven Sales Executive (Hunter) to aggressively grow new business across enterprise, hyperscaler, telecom, and large commercial customers in the United States. This role is focused on new logo acquisition
, opening doors, creating opportunities from scratch, and closing net-new revenue.
The ideal candidate is a pure hunter with a strong understanding of telecom infrastructure, wireless & wireline networks, data centers, fiber engineering, and IT services
, who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
New Business Development (Core Focus)
- Identify, prospect, and close net-new customers across enterprise, telecom, hyperscaler, and large commercial segments
- Drive the entire sales lifecycle
: lead generation, discovery, solutioning, proposal development, negotiation, and closure - Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through proactive outreach, cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events
- Open doors with CXOs, IT leaders, Network leaders, Engineering heads, Operations leaders, and Procurement teams
- Sell Star Tech Networks’ portfolio of services, including but not limited to:
- Wireless & Wireline Network Services
- Data Center Engineering, Deployment & Operations
- Infrastructure & IT Professional Services
- Understand customer pain points and position customized, value-driven solutions aligned with business and operational needs
- Collaborate with delivery, engineering, and operations teams to build winning technical and commercial proposals
- Develop deep understanding of target verticals such as Telecom, Technology, Data Centers, Enterprise IT, and Infrastructure Services
- Establish Star Tech Networks as a trusted partner
, not just a vendor - Build long-term relationships that can scale from initial projects to multi-year engagements and master service agreements (MSAs)
- Own and consistently achieve individual revenue targets and new logo goals
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline tracking, and activity reporting through CRM tools
- Provide regular updates on market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback
- 7–15+ years of experience in B2B sales / business development within:
- Infrastructure services
- IT services / professional services
- Proven track record of hunter-style sales success with clear examples of:
- Strong understanding of telecom and infrastructure ecosystems (wireless, wireline, fiber, data centers, IT infrastructure)
- Ability to sell complex, services-based solutions rather than commodity products
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
- Comfortable operating independently with minimal oversight
- Willingness to travel as required
- Existing network of enterprise, telecom, or hyperscaler contacts
- Experience selling services to Tier-1 telecoms, large system integrators, data center operators, or Fortune 1000 companies
- Experience working with delivery-heavy organizations where execution quality matters
- Familiarity with MSAs, SOWs, rate cards, and services contracting models
- Pure hunter role with no legacy accounts or farming expectations
- Ability to sell a broad and scalable services portfolio across multiple high-growth sectors
- Direct visibility with senior leadership and strong support from delivery and operations teams
